Ubuntu 10.4 – The Free, Very Functional, Operating System (replace windows now)

I just upgraded my version of Ubuntu from 9.10 to 10.4 and all I have to say is,.. “flawless.”
I have a couple of specific hardware and software configurations on my system and I was prepared to go through the troubles of having to recompile software and tinker with the operating system files until everything worked again. To my surprise, I did not have to touch anything on my system after the upgrade!

The installation was quite perfect, everything is up and running and for some reason, the system is just faster at performing tasks.

If you hate MS Windows, and/or finding your system sluggish and slow, you might want to back your hard drive up and use Ubuntu 10.4.

It’s about time,…

Okay, it’s not only about time but it’s also about money, and it’s also about a long list of accomplishments that I’ve been steadily pinning on my lanyard: achieving school aspirations (flying through to year 3 now), working out and bulking up, organizing my finances, and finally .. getting my website FINALLY up with portfolio pieces to augment my resume.

Unlike before, I won’t be putting this off any more, I’ve been in development over the past week and already started coding the new website layout.

I used to sell myself, saying “I don’t really have a portfolio put together because I never have time to create one since I’m always so busy spending 100% of my time on my clients work instead.” Well, frankly I feel like it’s time to really focus on me for once and I can’t wait to jump on the narcissistic bandwagon and show everyone what kind of work I’ve been proud to produce in the past.

And all you naysayers,… start towing your tails.
